I have had this sparring with my Dad (AnonymousOne) and its a lack of my endurance I think. He is incredible to spar against. Hes incredibly fast. I have seen him make mince meat of a 4th Dan and wore the guy out. Dad has always said that these things happen because we are not anaerobically fit enough. I hope I spelt that properly. I think that is why he is so hard on me in training, to get fit.
I enjoy it, not always at the time, but when I see the improvement I really am happy. I want to get better, one day I hope to be as good and as fit as him but I dont know if I could do as many hours aweek as he does, that could take a long time
There are more Samoans in Auckland City where we live than Samoa I can tell you that they are not violent people for the most part. Very quiet and very religious most of them
Ha ha Dad. Trust you to want to buck the system. I am telling Kancho Sensei on you By the way Dad, how does it feel being only an orange belt, I gotta tell Greg about this, he will crack up laughing LOL [ This Message was edited by: Jared on 2002-02-19 15:12 ]
I have never really been to a Dojo, just a few training camps. I didnt notice any racsism there. Mind you there not too much in our country being multicultural. Its a very bad thing. In our family we have a mix of blood of Irish, Scotish and Okinawan. These days so many people have mixed blood it would be silly to be rascist I think!!
Hi I am AnonymousOne's son. My name is Jared. I am 20 years of age. My Dad told me about this place so I had a look through and it looks cool! Hope I can learn many things here. I have the computer for a week cause Dad is away down country with the Army. So its party time. hehe. Naa he would kill me. But its nice to be able to have the computer to myself for a change. Keep training! Jared [ This Message was edited by: Jared on 2002-02-19 14:48 ]
