  1. Sparring the only "real" way to test what you have learned.
  2. I have a speed bag in my garage and i am thinking of moving it in to my room the only problem is it is load. Is there any way to silence it a little?
  3. to the roundhouse to the stomach is effective, or a douple roundhouse to leg then head(if the opponent blocks the kicks with his hands)

  5. This kid in one of my classes sweats alot and he always has to wash his uniform and sash. on our uniforms(kung fu uniform) there is red stitching around it and he washed so much the red blended and he has a pink uniform now and his gold sash faded yellow.
  6. we were running in class and we run along the mat there is a corner tha sitcks out and a heavy bag hanging infront of it and there is about a 2 foot gap and I run in between the bag and the corner and the toe of my shoe hit the ground and i triped and fell face first into the bag.

  8. Do basic excersises like push ups, pull ups, sit ups stuff like that. Run. Also get a pair of 16oz gloves and hit a heavy bag i do three 3min rounds but start small with like two 2min rounds. my only tip would be push yourself when you feel like you cant do another pushup do 5 more. hit the bag till you cant hold your arms any more. You also so should eat after you workout mainly protien steak, eggs, cheese or protien shakes. Remember to stretch.

  10. I have never seen electras sai but if they are going to be modeled after them then i suggest you find a site that sells movie props and buy a recreation of them there.
  11. But will that work out those muscels? Those places are the only place i dont have muscle.
  12. Any workouts were i can train my latts, traps and the muscle in between without any equimpent..Ii have a sinlge 25lbs dumbell =/

  18. Step aside and give them a powerful round house to the stomach, or if they are already hitting you grab their head and knee, or step aside and trip them(if you are a grappler)
  19. BJJ is useful. I would also suggest a stand up fighting style to train in as well.
  20. It is not easy to teach because somtimes it is better if learned yourself, relax breath, and become one with your invornment

  23. Not intirely true i have seen a video of the shaolin temple and they let a canadian stay and study with them, i think they do this with other people to. I dont know what you have to do in order to study there though.
  24. I would say that the Defensive stance (pretty much a boxing stance), the other one i would rarly use is the Cat Stance for a quick front kick.
