  1. Thanks for your inputs.. Yeah pretty much my leg is good enough now where I don't limp anymore when I walk, but I won't be training for a while until I feel confident that I can stress the muscles again.. About my knee, it's really the only place left where there's pain. I feel it mostly around my knee cap on the outside and the inside. The pain is not nearly as bad as it was, so I'm assuming it will slowly continue to get better. It sure is taking along time though.. I wish I had health insurance.. =( Also, it 's the most sore when I move my leg after a long rest period. (after sleeping, watching a movie etc.) As if the blood circulation has something to do with it?
  2. Yesterday, I got my head ran over by a street cleaner. I was laying out on the sidewalk enjoying the sun, unfortunately my head was laying on the street. Because I'm deaf from getting shot in both ears with hunting tipped arrows I wasn't able to hear it coming.. Ok just kidding.. However I did get kicked in the scitic nerve almost 3 weeks ago and my knee section is still in pain which has limited me to upper body workouts as well. Pullups/chinups are also great. I'm just glad I still have my sense of humor.
  3. Sometimes, I set my dumbells on the ground shoulder width apart and hold them while I do my pushups. I found this helps me get the extra extension on the way down like a bench would. Also I hear putting your feet on one of those exercise balls and doing pushups is good. I've tried it though and it's hard to ballance, I geuss it takes some practice.
  4. Thanks for replies. I know I need to see a doc for a lot of things ... I'm just trying to figure out why the pain spread down my whole leg over the days even though I only got hit in the upper thigh area.. I was reading about it, and it seems like a nerve injury?? I thought it was the sciatic nerve but isn't that in the back of the leg?? Maybe another main nerve if there is such a thing..
  5. I was roundhouse kicked twice and then knee striked in my left upper thigh. Right below the hip joint. It floored me instantly and the pain was great. Over the days I began developing pain down my thigh, around my knee, my calf, ankle and the top of my foot. It's created a dull type of throbbing pain that's intense enough to wake me up at night, especially when I extend my leg all the way or bend my leg at the knee which is still painfull and very tight. It's been a week and 2 days now and I think the pain is finally starting to get better. Does anyone know why the pain spread through my whole leg slowly over the days? Also exercises to help prevent these types of injuries would also be appreciated.
