  1. This sunday I have tournament for TKD. I will be doing sparring(my favoirte!) and forms. For all you tkd people I will be doing Keumkang because I am 2nd Dan. Wish me luck...
  2. I personally think it should be a good solid mix of both. For more lighter hits, it would be a lot of strikes. For two or three really hard hit's it would be kicking. But kicking does take energy and it is hard. Thouhgts?
  3. So like if all kids pass belt tests no matter what.
  4. Yea, what's MCDojang mean? Anyway, i know they exist, but i would feel bad if i left my school. But trust me Korea is better than some of the best schools, trust me.
  5. Good ol' poomse is fun. My school is a mix of traditonal and sparring but when i went to Korea it was all sparring. Also when i train at home it is sparring.
  6. Alright on sunday I have a tournament(it's now wednesday). On saturday I trained pretty hard at my school's weekend camp they have twice a year. Now my quads are still soar. It was bad sunday but i still had a sparring match. Monday i rested completely, tuesday i did a litte poomse(forms). Today i did jumprope, steps, and kicking. My legs are much better but i still do feel them. Tonight i will take a hot bath, but i hope they are good for sunday. Any adivce on how to get them not soar?
  7. Whoa, my school has 900 active. We have about a hundred black belts.
  8. Lol, olympic tkd style does not mean you nessacrily train for the olympics. It just means you train Olympic style, certaind drills, a lot focusing on sparring.
  9. Yea I personally train at a US dojang, it isn't the hardest but we hjave great masters. I just feel like you can't potentially get as much training here.
