That causes devestating knee problems. Its better use for it is to wear them when jogging since it improves leg strength and avoids your knees feeling like they got stabbed.

Hey all, just got a question for all you TKDers My friend recently joined a tkd dojo,it looks like ever normal kind of dojo BUT the way they spar is...different. They spar and evenhave boxing gloves on and punch to the head. Its more like a kickboxing/tkd school haha,is this good or bad?
-
just wondering how this style works.. can someone tell me if its effective on the streets, traditional, etc.?
-
Which style of karate do you guys believe is the most useful and effective on the streets?
-
This is questions to MA instructors. How much do you regularly charge students? and is the job of a instructor a steady paid job? i plan to open up my own dojo one day.

If you think about it..jackie chan is the only real deal martial arts superstar. These days other martial artists use to much computer graphics or strings and movies like daredevil, matrix, etc use actors/actreses to do the fighting rather than real MAists -

back when Super Nintendo was around,it was easy to play japanese games on the american system,u just needed to take off a piece of plastic on the japanese cartrage at the bottom to insert it into the american system. -

wow,but i thought that old fool that looks like pai mei from KB2 was supose to be a new liu kang. And the Kanos ending of DA,liu kangs soul gets into him...now im just confused-.- -
Which one is more beneficial? I always do slow open hand sparring with my partner since i get lazy if i try to shadowbox. Shadowboxing is beneficial for speed, and knowing what to do.Slow sparring helps know what to do and getting the feeling of fighting.I would do regular sparring, but we dont have any full body gear like our kwoon(i think thats whut u call them )

sarah is weird, she waves her foot around in the air like a tart.Jacky is just...not fun,its most likely becuase he lacks flebility. The Laws are the most flexible in my eyes, since they do a lot of flips, frog leaps, etc. Jann lee is just bruce lee moves taken from his movies....but yet its still hot -

yeah i do actually.Which Law? forest or marshall? haha same difference I favor more of the graphics than cartoon since some MA'st are actually wearing those movement senors and actually doing the moves.Cartoons on the other hand are just drawn...not as realistic. -

aw,you shouldnt dis them like that xD.Only reason why you really like Akira is becuz hes all Baji Quan unlike michelle n julia chang who have a few techniques of it.Also u hate Gato and Yun becuz they r cartoonish and Akira is more computer graphiced(real people doing his movements obviously xP). I like Jacky Bryant, but his techniques are weird,Jann Lee from DOA dominates all Bruce Lee-alikes. -
Do the old rivalries still exist?
Little Dragon replied to Nick_UKWC's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
Masters DO make challenges, but its for different reasons than thugs and criminals.Usually for Reputation,Rivalry,or To Establish Order like manuelito had said. -
I do JKD Concepts,i learn under John Ferguson,he learned under Paul Vunak. JKD is a style,a style of fighting xD..its just not a specfic one like gung fu,karate, taekwondo, etc. Back when Bruce taught it,it was meant to help u adapt to your fighter.Bruce never thought there was a superior style,so he wanted to adapt to which style was the best for the moment.Nowadays masters have added things like BJJ and other stuff like Pauls RAT program.Which isnt making it formless or shapeless...its jsut making it into a brutal street fighting tatics.
