  1. Thanks folks for trying to help,just for your info i found a place in usa selling them in an old 1980s kung fu mag, still trying to find if they still trade. At the moment i am a student of kobudo and japanese/asian jujitsu(no need for a history argument here)and karate

A good black belt does not a good teacher make,i always thought ,rightly or wrongly that the individual interpretation of ones art begins when you not only reach this grade but developing the art to maximise your strenghts and minimise your weakness. Ultimatly if he/she crap then he/she will have no students i the long term

  5. I agree with some and not others,the freedom of ideas and the ability to try those ideas in any if not all systems. Mostly how about the idea that what you are told is not necassarily so because you are told so
  6. Of course it matters,is it to heavy?,is it suitable for what your doing?and ultimatly can you move in it? All to a certain extent personel pref
