I am actually offended by this thread. Or at least that martial artists have lost all aspiration and just yearn to be Blackbelts. I am a purple belt in Bok Fu and I can Still beat bost black belts at kickboxing. Not because of some cloth tied around my waste, but passion for a deeper understanding of the style. My uncle was an 8th Dan in wing chun and you know how he died? a bullet to the back. Whether or not your a black belt makes no difference whatsoever.

I'm a student of the style of Kenpo Karate that Richard Lee invented called "bok fu". I know this isnt traditional Shaolin Bok Fu because the base of the style is Karate. Im wondering, If anyone knows, what style Richard Lee based this on. Any info on him or what style of karate-do its based on would be helpful.
