Yellow Belt (2/10)

  1. i seriously read that somewhere in this forum though and lots of ppl agreed
  2. thanks a million lucky why is it that everytime i post, u post something right after me? we've got some sorta going on
  3. holy crap, when he coached the British Men's Team, they became the World Champions five times and He became a member of the English Karate Team after training just 11 months hot d.amn where do i sign up? they won the championship in 1982,1984, 1986,1988,1990...is this because the championship is held everyother year?? or just by coincidence
  4. i thought it goes like this: originally there were only two colours. white and black. everyone stays with white until they're good enough for black. the black came from when the white belts worked so long and hard that their white belts became black from all the dirt and blood. and the colours came from judo. karate should follow the normal colours from judo, but lots of people that start their own schools think they can mess around w/ the belts. sheesh and last night i had chow fun and the day before that i had a ham sandwich....oops wrong box i'm typing into. oh well i guess i'll just hit submit to see what people would say after this
  5. a ha it is I wolvesofthunder's cat BATMAN n-e hoo i have a dog named d.ammit so everytime when i want the dog to come, i say,"come here d.ammit"
  6. here's a trick take off ur patches then put velcro on them and ur uniform so ur patches are "velcro-able" then u can wash it w/ ease jk velcros would look *
  7. im 16 and am 5'9" i'd be happy if i were 5'9"...oh wait, im already that tall no wonder why i'm so happy all the time. you guys gotta be happy w/ what you have because unless if ur michael jackson, you're gonna stick w/ the body you're born with
  8. try doing normal crunches, but cross ur arms over ur chest and hold a weight. like one of those round plate thingies. that's what i do w/o spending lots of money of those boots by the way, the abs are a fast twitch muscle so u gotta do crunches fast.
  9. well bruce lee would be a senior citizen if he were alive, FUNAKOSHI would be really scarry if he were alive, and jackie chan is just a comedian. i'd say, bruce lee in his prime
  10. i was just kidding sometimes its really fun to see people get pissed when their style is put down and get to hear how their style is really "the best". n-e hoo like i said in another forum, i think it's the one on street fighting styles knowing a style of fighting is like having a tool in your tool box. u can't build something efficiently or even build period w/ only one tool!!! the more styles u have, the more "tools" u have to finish ur task better and more efficiently
  11. actually knowing a style of fighting is like having a tool in your tool box. u can't build something w/ only one tool!!! the more styles u have, the more "tools" u have to finish ur task better and more efficient
  12. just outta curiousity, how did jiu-jitsu find its way to Brazil and is it true that judo is just a watered down version of jiu-jitsu b/c too many ppl were gettin' hurt in sparring?
  13. hot damn your moves were pretty sweet just a quick ?? which is better? chain or rope?
  14. for my dad's black belt testing, everyone was locked in a gym for a week and had to do 1000 reps of each technique, and also do 1000 push-ups, sit-ups, and other stuff. then for kumite, it was a 3 on 1. this was back in the day though in japan. does anybody do this in america?
