hmmmm....I'll have to Visit. I have never heard of his style before. Does anyone else know of this style? Also, I found another Dojo called Dacascos Kung Fu Academy. Has anyone heard good/bad things about this?

I do know of some traditional TKD schools and unfortunately they are far away. But sparring in Olimpic TKD is hardly useful.

Living in Beaverton Oregon, I have a limited selection of non-TKD schools. I have experienced what TKD is like I do not plan on ever doing TKD again. I had hoped to find a Wing Chung School, but there were none that I could find around where I live. There was however, a Kung fu school that taught a style that I have never heard of. I went to the site and it looked somewhat extravigant. It claims to be " Sheng hun" Kung Fu. The site is https://www.fareastfightingarts.com. Anyone else suspisious? Or is this legit?

IMHO TKD sparring is a GREAT exersise but a BAD simulation. It is really hard to do those high kicks over and over...but you probally wouldn't even wan't to do even one kick above the gut in a real fight. At my school, we were even encouraged not to block! What proceded was a steady exchange of light taps until one person got too tired to continue. Also, punches and practically ALL handwork was basicly nonexistent. Hence I quit. Just My 2 cents.
