White Belt

White Belt (1/10)

  1. I am 28 years old and about a year ago was diagnosed with a slipped L4-L5 disc. I started TKD last year and and my back went out causing me to stop TKD for 3 months. In those 3 months I went through some extensive chiropractic work. I started back into practicing TKD slowly and eventually worked up to a good pace. My back was doing great all the way up to this past Thursday, (June 17th). I had a pretty good workout that day and after I was done my back even felt great. I always stretch 20 min before class and 10 - 15min afterward. However the next day about 1:00 in the afternoon my back started to go out on me. I tried stretching it out and I put ice and a warm bath but by 7:00 in the evening it was out. The pain normally last a couple days. I still go through chiropractic work however I need some more advice as to how to condition my body with such a problem . I do not want to quite TKD because I really love it. Please help. I am willing to try whatever I can. I have searched and searched the web for answers but have not found any. Again Please Help.
