  1. Depends on you. If it works good for you ( the info out of the book) then keep it at that. Don't worry about the trash talk, thats all it is.
  2. The reason I say what i said, My Sifu has been there and done that. He started to get "the good stuff" and the guards of the same style came over and talked to the monk( could be wrong) and the monk did not finish what he started. He went back to the norm. Ask your Sifu if he/she knows of anyone you can see when you go. I think a person would stand a better chance of getting some good info that way. If we go to watch a UFC match then that is what we get. If we have an "in" then we might get to meet a few.
  3. I have also wondered about a trip for some good training. That thought left my mind about as fast as i got it. I would be wanting some really good training but get some watered down verson of MA's. I think a person would need an "in" if you are going to go. THink how long it took to leak all the MA's over here.
  4. Only 3 in class, a few more outside of class.
  5. I really enjoy my teacher know but if I had to choose(had the time) I will also have to go with fallen milkman ^^^^^ or someone along those lines. Scratch that I would still choose my teacher.
  6. I am sure people are not going to believe this but "squat". Drop all of your weight on your two feet. You are not going to get it the first or second time. Have a partner start out slow with alot of force and pick up speed from there. I also need to add keep your feet close together. When you start to get the hang of it just ram there head into your knee after that. You will also have to work on balance and keeping your knee's close. If your balance is bad...............it's going to take along time. To speed up the process go get a balance board and start there. I hope this helps. PhD Peddler
  7. There would have to be energy transfer. Either taking or giving(shock) of energy. Does no one here train with "stealing energy"?
  8. I always say blood cause some people do not know what chi feels like.
  9. I really can't remember what training with out shoes on feels like. It's been almost 7 to 8 months.
  10. We have a 3 day semi. on April 23, 24, 25. 10 hours each day. Anyway........... did anyone try the shoulder roll?
  11. We (silat) always workout in shoes and other....... we always wear kung-fu button down top with sash.
  12. Did it feel like more blood flow to your hands?
  13. I have felt........well try reading my other post on "fists full of chi" Remember that chi is a flow and not to be disrupted. Are you asking to get alot of chi in your arms and go do some curls? Something like this to get more weight on your curls? If you are try doing your exercises. For a cool down get a good chi flow going. Just remember don't throw your chi away! Keep it.
  14. Here's one for ya then. Not fists but hands full of Chi. Stand with your feet close together. Knee's bent, tail (butt) tucked in. Your pointer finger raised just a bit higher than the rest. Hands are at your side. One at a time roll one shoulder back at a time. As you roll one shoulder think of pushing that hand threw the ground. Do each sholder. Does it feel like alot of blood are in your hands? Let me know. Thanks Peddler.
