  1. First off I am really out of shape. I am 5'10" and about 250. I am not sure if I am overtraining by going 6 days a week for 2 hours each day. My joints in my ankles and wrist are getting pretty sore, I would guess this is common but there are othe people who go about as much as me and don't have that problem.
  2. What do you guys think is the best brand of Muay Thai pads? I am going to purchase some, but I am not sure which ones to get. Any advice is appreciated.
  3. I am becoming a Muay Thai enthusiast fast. What equipment would be essential to train outside of the gym. Also this forum is seeing little action so I thought I would post something.
  4. Doint a split is not a goal of mine. I was just wondering how important it was to stretch and be flexible for Muay Thai.
  5. How important is stretching in Muay Thai? We don't do much if any stretching. I mean when we warm up we will do a little bit but no one in the class can do a split. Should this be something that I do on my own time or before or after the class dismisses?
  6. $65.00 per month. That is Mon. thru Thur. 6-8, Fri. we spar.
  7. Thanks for the advice, I think my coordination is the problem. I can't do anything with my left hand.
  8. Hello all, I am new to Muay Thai. I had my first couple of classes and everything seems to be going well. My instructor said he was impressed with me after only attending a week of classes. Anyway I am feeling uncomfortable throwing hooks and uppercuts, is this common for someone who has never really done this? I do find that I can do them better with my right arm since I am right handed. Thanks in advance for any advice.
