  2. There are a few ways to toughen up your hands and fingers. For fingers, start by tapping on things, like your desk or a little peice a metal. You can start by tapping on each finger but eventually you will be doing downward pokes. Its easy and can be done just about anywhere! You may however driver you neighbors nutz! As for your hands you can toughen up the palms and backs at the same time. Open your hand so that your palm faces you. Take your right hand and back fist your open palm. When you strike make sure that you are striking across not level. Do this 10 times and switch. To toughen your punches, take the pieces over news paper and fold them over as much as possible but into a square that is bigger than your fist. Duck take it to a brick wall, or wall on the side of your house/Dojo. At a medium pace start to punch. This will toughen your punches in no time! Another way is to do push ups on your fists.
