I'd suggest talking to a counseler or someone to help you with your anger, though i hope you've calmed down by now. I don't suggest you do anything to them. There are too many variables that could land you in jail or kill you. They may have already forgotten your face buy now so don't go starting a war with them. If you do something to them, they will just get revenge by hurting you or a loved one. I also don't recomend intimidation tactics either since they can backfire and might just escalate things and endanger family members. What you should do is pity these guys. Because, from what you've described, they're just a bunch of punks who'll either waste thier life away or wind up dead from a drug overdose or a gunshot wound. You shouldn't let them ruin you're life too. These guys don't need you to teach them anything since they're probably incapable of learning anything anyway. Maybe you should also cary a gun, if you feel it's neccessary (know your local laws and be well trained in how to use it ). Remember He that lives by the gun will die by the gun

you guys should check out the discovery channels website. They got a section that has to do with martial arts and body mechanics. It doesn't really teach a whole lot about physics but they had some cool videos.

pressure point fighting doesn't have to be no touch ko's or touch hits. The two schools of thought that i've heard on press point fighting is that you could train to hit specific points or hit several locations with full body power and activate one or many of the press points. And most points or areas i've learned are obvious ones like the groin and the knees. So it doesn't take a whole lot of training to learn how to hit vital areas.

To thai boxers
wolfman replied to Mart's topic in MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, and Competitive Fighting
I train in Pencack Silat. But our Silat has a little more chinese flavor than normal. So we probably can't call it Pencack Silat any more. The school is in Tampa Fl so if your near there come by, or check out the website at https://www.clearsilat.com -
Top 10 Self Defense Martial Arts
wolfman replied to aznkarateboi's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
I've been exposed to some systema. Its a russian system, supposedly what their special forces trained. However I think it borrows heavily from chinese systems. I'm not familiar with taijutsu but it probably is similar. Is taijutsu anything like tai chi? -
Ninjutsu vs. Jujutsu
wolfman replied to BlackRose's topic in Choosing a Martial Art, Comparing Styles, and Cross-Training
Did any body see a special on the Discovery Channel about Martial arts that featured ninjitsu. I saw it a few months ago, I think it was ninjitsu anyway, this old japanese grandmaster guy was training a bunch of students in japan and demonstrating his ninja techs for the filmmakers. He also showed off some equipment like the tree claw thing and throwing knives. One of my favorite demonstrations was when he jumped out of a tree, about 4 or 5 feet high, in front of two of his students. Everyone was dressed in ninja gear. And he crushed a smoke bomb thing in his hand and swung it in front of the two guys' faces. All the smoke got in their faces and blinded them. I think he dodged an initial attack by rolling before he demonstrated cutting his students with two swipes of his sword. I thought it was very cool. He was teaching his students all sorts of weapons and stuff. Pretty impresive training -
gun kata from the movie Equilibrium

That thread dgraded into an argument of what gun had the most stopping power. I liked the gun fighting in the movie it was very original. Martial arts have integrated many weapons into styles and forms i just wanted to opinions of how guns would be integrated. -

A chainsaw punch is really a series of punches. You punch straight down your center followed by another punch immediately after it. Kinda goes out and down. You do several of these punches in a continuous loop (looks like a chain saw when you do it fast). Lots of techniques can come out of this, tansao, bongsao, etc. To knock down a hook angle it towards the incoming hook knock it down and then turn back and attack the face. Use it to close the distance on a boxer; should also knock down jabs. -

What did I say that goes against what most WC guys say? Who’s Wong Shun Leung? I wasn’t talking about boxers like Mike Tyson I was talking about boxers more or less on your level. And chi sao isn’t just a game its practice to build up sensitivity. Any way I thought I was just helping out, what I suggested is stuff that I found useful in my training. Check out Steve Lee Swift, really cool WC guy. -

Drunken Monkey I’m surprised to read that you have trouble against boxers. You do Wing chun, boxers should be cake for you. I’ve done wing chun, and boxers were no problem. When you say "they give you nothing to use" do you mean they hold their fists close to their heads for protection? If that’s it then smack their fists into their face and go in attacking. As for the tight hooks you can punch those down with a chainsaw punch. Once you lay a hand on him (anywhere not just the arms) you should be able to feel everything he’s doing. Because sticking isn’t just about keeping contact it’s about touch sensing/feeling. And it doesn’t matter where you have contact. It should all come from your sticking man. Don’t know if you do the sticky hands with a set structure or what, but I’d recommend doing the freestyle sticky hands with your eyes closed (you should be better when your eyes are closed) throw structure out the window (you already have it subconsciously) and stay relaxed. Go at a medium pace get hit a couple times shrug it off but stay relaxed. You gotta go where there is no resistance, but you’ll only feel that if you’re relaxed. Like I said boxer should be cake because you work the sticking and they don’t. I guess I have to see you first hand to really know what you mean though. Never seen Choy Le Fut fight so I don’t have any advice for that. I hope this helps. -

Has any one here ever heard of the ground fighting system called Harimau tiger. I've done a little of it very effective. Also earlier in one of the entries someone mentioned that no style empasizes multiple attackers. I d like to point out two that do concentrate on dealing with multiple attacker situations, Bagua and setia-hati. -
