  1. well,in elementary i average about 2 fights a day....but then by jr.high i slowed down & very rarely fought...i pushed a few guys on the ground & probably hit a few...but by jr.high they realiaed they couldnt beat me...now in high school (just started this semester) i havnt been in a fight,but a guy picked a fight with me & he hit me twice...but he ran away so i have yet to get him back,however,im still looking for him this happened just a few days ago.
  2. the best way to control "the shakes" is to streetfight and get used to being hit to the face...if it helps any...it doesnt hurt a bit being hit in the face especially while you have the shakes and your adrenaline is going (this is only from my personal experience on the streets howeveryou may feel it the next day.
  3. I would say kajukenpo is very well rounded.
  4. I study several matial arts.The reason i am still studying them is because 1.I would like to fight in an MMA someday and 2.I live in a very tough town where there are lots of fights (fist and weapon) and i like to feel safe from it all.

  6. -1st dan shotokan -white belt BJJ -Kickboxing I started when i was six.I enjoy them because i love to spar & fight so instead of street fighting i get my daily fight in the gym.

  8. I think it should be no contact for white belts & beginner yellow belts,but orange i think should be full contact
  9. It could be because we are from differnent places aefbird,because there was no contact at all in my shotokan class,or in Nova Scotia from what i know of
  10. Thanks zr440 but what i meant by conditioning is so it wont hurt as much if you are kicked in the thighs.

  13. The reason i didnt like shotokan was because there is no contact in the sparring
  14. I would say Boxing.Judo does too much groundwork for self defense.Because out on the streets if you go 2 the ground your face is gonna me mashed into the back of your head.
  15. I would say external because you learn at a much faster pace
