how about aikido for a big guy? anyone do it now? anyone big that does it? i checked out alot of schools and this one that does aikido is great. everyone was so nice to me. and the monthly dues is only $25.00 per month.they tell me its not a school but a club thats non profit, and thats why it cost so little. i would like to here some thoughts........thanks................jimmy

whats everyone paying for lessons? is it by the month or one payment a year? i would like to know so i dont pay to much.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks

we have quite alot of schools here in milwaukee but the one i like wants me to sign a year contract with him.i wouldnt mind but, what if in a few weeks or 1 or 2 months i dont like the teacher or the school or whatever. i really like this school but to sign a contract for karate lessons iam not sure i want to do this.iam not buying a car or house all i want to do is loose some weight and learn some martial arts.what is everyone else doing....thanks........jim

iam 395 lbs 6foot 1 and 40 years old and out of shape. my question is am i to old to start martial arts? if not, am i to fat to start martial arts? and what form of martial arts would i get into being so fat and out of shape?
