  1. Why do you have contracts? That sounds a bit mcdojoish.
  2. I can understand if you try to master your competition kata, but five years of only one kata...

    Who made a mistake? Me?
  4. Tekken is boring. the first three were good, but when it came to tekken Tag Tournament it all collapsed. But it can although be played, at rainy days and such.
  5. I only did game 2. But the site was good! Thanks for the link, SaiFaightsms!
  6. Jackie Chan versus Bruce Lee. Jackie would probably get his butt kicked, but it would be a fight worth watching anyway.
  7. If you train control you will also know how to fight full contact. But one that only practises full contact will not be able to fight with control. So I guess better to practise control. Plus, all the full contact sparring gears cost a lot.

    Kata

    Ok.

    Kata

    Does judo have katas too?
  10. Twelve minutes mile? I walk faster. But If you watch the improvement in the olympic games. The first year you could have won with a time around 12 sec. Some years later you could have won with 11 sec. Now you need around 9.90! That´s a huge improvement. But back then you weren´t actually training. The naturally fast guys were sent to the Olympic games, and when they came home they just continued on with their normal lives.

    Kata

I know some styles, as Han moo do and Tae kwon do (I think) that do not use kata. They seem to be fine without it, but they don ´t know what they are missing...

Yeah, every time we bow and such we say oss. Maybe it´s only in my style.

But I always bow and say "oss" when I enter the dojo, and on a camp i was on we had to say oss to the sensei to show that we understood what he was teaching. Is it something wrong with that?
  14. Yo, wut´s up, pal? !
  15. I´m not a very romantic person, so I say career.
