  1. P.S. Keep us posted on your progress. I know I am interested.
  2. When I started training, I was about 95lbs overweight. Since then I have lost about 20-25lbs. My advice is to take it slow, it's very easy to hurt yourself trying to push it too hard. now I still have a way to go, but another bit of advice....don't ever quit because you are overweight. It seems alot of people here are dealing with the same issue and the only way to get rid of it is to keep going, we are all behind you Also, the stretching does get easier as you lose weight. 4-5 years ago, I weighed 205, (mostly muscle, I worked out alot) and could jump kick a target 7-8 feet high and I am only 5'11 and now that I am losing the weight, it is getting alot easier(still cant hit that 8 foot mark, but I will get it eventually) so will you
  3. I am in Tucson, AZ USA Hey Martial_Artist, we are almost neighbors http://www.tucson.com/local.php
  4. I sometimes bet the same pain, I saw a doctor, and he said that it was an "inner chest wall muscle cramp" and it was nothing to worry about. It was very sharp, and the deeper I breathed the sharper the pain. Now, I'm not saying don't see a doctor, because you should, but that may be what it is.
  5. I would have to agree with Blade 1 and 2, the CGI is pretty bad in parts, but the actual fighting is very good. Also most Bruce lee flix are pretty realistic, and Best of the Best.
  6. Watch more movies Just kidding. Be patient. His skill cant develop any further than the next action flick while your training has you on a steady incline. You will beat him. Keep training.
  7. I think that grouping all "Christians" together as a groups is very unfair. I am a Christian, and even I get annoyed with some of them. Those who have to have their nose in everything you are doing and themselves live sinfully, yes, hypocrites. Those who have lost sight of what it is really all about, a PERSONAL relationship with God. But, that is not all of us. And, I think that some aspects of the MA could be misconstrued as "religeous" if presented that way. Meditating in front of a shrine with statues of Budda all around and inscense burning everywhere, is what Hollywood shows the general populace, so what are non-martial artist supposed to think? Just my 2 cents
