because that is what pro wrestlers would call me because the instructor said that if i walked around saying i'm a pro wrestler i would be in trouble it's a tradition type of thing. just like if you got into a pro wrestling ring and touch the ropes you would get the crap kicked out of you because only students and wrestlers are allowed to touch the ropes it's stupid traditon.

point fighting
sano replied to Martial Law's topic in MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, and Competitive Fighting
point fighting is for wimps, cowards, and girls. full contact is the best. i do not want to jinx myself but i have not had a broken bone yet. sore knee problems from time to time but no broken bones. -
That what i was about to say but i guess my mind is in the gutter. Anyway FIGHTING!! I can not go 2 days with out it or i get depressed or stressed out fighting to me is like smoking for others, it calms my nerves.

Knee Blasts
sano replied to Ironberg's topic in MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, and Competitive Fighting
all good another full contact martial artist. please do compete in kickboxing we need more kickboxers. I always use knee strikes to close the distance on really good kickers or to stop rapit punchers .(since you know tkd compete in san sho or ISKA's Orental style kickboxing). -
no. i saw it on t.v. and the video games. like it, modify it for combat situations and perform it and it worked. you just have to time it like when somebody throwing a round kick you spin drop to floor and let go. i took a 200 pound guy of his feet, and a advance caperioa artist of his feet. which if you seen caperioa in action u would know thats hard to do. but i would not use it in a real life street situations.

Proud moments in your martial arts career?
sano replied to iolair's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
i have a lot, one is when i catch experiance martial artist with moves they say will never work in sparring or tournaments(i guess by them training in MA so long they do not know what to do in a position like that so they lie and say it will never work.). Like spinning back sweeps, spinning air kicks, and pro wrestling moves. -
Well i have to say Shotokan, kyokushin, and Goju since thats what my style is about, a mixture. but since my style more so resembles Kyokushin i will have to go with that.
-
Spin Kicks cause i do the spinning back sweeps now and they work. HA
-
yeah people talking on their cell phones really loud in public. NOBODY WANT TO HEAR YO PROBLEMS!!!

as a former pro wrestler in training they would always tell me that the crowd likes big flashy moves that they can understand. my trainer used to say do high impact moves such as wheel kicks, dropkicks and high kicks because they look impressive. just like the movies people do not want to see a guy blocking all day they want to see more offense. if you notice people always talk about jet li because of the high impact moves he does, while only a few talk about jackie chan. if they talk about jackie is because of his stunts. people like big simple stuff they can relate to. when ever we did matches the instructor would always say "you are telling a story when your in a match". That exactly how Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Jet Li and Segal fight in the movies. But i guess Jackie just does not understand america i guess.
