  1. Hi, Keep your guard up. Circle the opponent. If he's a kicker learn to close the distance, if he's a puncher maintain your distance. realise everyone gets scared. Realise the guy being a higher grade than you ain't that big a deal. Take care MF
  2. Hi Also unless you have experience of fights you won't know how you will respond. Most MA's haven't had a fight so everything they say is theory. I have seen many Black Belts get battered it is very sad. What you do in the dojo is a million times harder to do on the street. Also you have to take into account what the other guy knows. Has he had more street fights thatn you is he better at MA's than you. Saying in a fight I would do XY and Z is ok but have you done it b4. The adrenal response will take away 90% of your leanred techniques especially kicks locks etc. If you are planning on doing certain techniques in a real fight thay should be the ones you practice, to the exclusion of all others. MF
  3. Hi, Shout at them and they'll be too scared to fight??? I was right in my other post about you wasn't I? You've never been in a fight. MF
  4. Hi, Hit em first, hit em hard and keep hitting them till they are no longer a threat. Head shots are best. No offence Brando-san but you don't sound like you've been in a real fight to me. take care MF
  5. Hi, I find the people who diss. PP's are usually people who haven't trained in them. When PP's came out they made a lot of traditional sensei seem patheitic. a lot of the negativity comes from there. They are a good addition to your arsenal. They can be utilised in real situations. They are not hard to hit, if you train them. The list above by hobbitbob is mainly vital points not the same as PP's. If you go to hit a point on the jaw and miss the point you still got a hit on the jaw. take care MF
