  1. Im doing it for a mixture of reasons, just for the sake of learning, but i have also done a few demonstrations when the club has been doing anything, i have been out there to show the nunchaku. My instructor hasnt shown me anything apart from the Chucks, his favourite weapons are the sai, but also the Bo is used a lot at our club when we (the adults) are using weapons. So yes i would like something that looks good, but just as much i would like something that is fun to throw around - like the chucks. Suggestions? also any resources online? or books from amazon?
  2. Hello there, first post, be gentle. Basically, i did do Karate (Wado Ryu) and kickboxing, for several years, until about 7 months ago when i went over at kickboxing, tearing my anterior cruciate ligament, not fun, believe me on that one. As i didnt want to completely quit my martial arts, and i cant exactly continue at the moment, i bought a pair of nunchaku. Now these are some of the most fun things you can buy, like a yo-yo but dangerous, though not fun when you gurt yourself, i found the most painful place to hit was the elbow, but anyway, one pair quickly because 3 (i bought wood ones to start, then some foam then a pair of metal - aluminium to be precise, to demonstrate with). Now i am pretty good, and can do everything my instructor (6th Dan) can show me at least as well as he can, but i was wondering if there was more? any links would be appreciated. Also now i feel i am proficient in the Chucks, i am looking foir a new weapon to try out, I was looking towards a Bo Staff, or possibly Sai, and was wondering if any of you had any suggestions as to what to get, and even more importantly where to learn from, preferably on the net (being a student my finances are somewhat limited). Thanks for reading this, Anthony
