I know this will sound far-fetched. My first night in karate we did pushups -started with five finger tips went down to just thumbs. Another student and myself were the only ones who could do thumbs only, everyone else stoped at three finger tips. I never tried this before but I do one-arm pushups occasionally and can do 50 straight. Maybe it is natural.

KSN Doug - what are your thoughts on Hwa Rang Do ?- I have a school near me that has it.

What age did you guys start MA ? What age are you now ?

Anyone practice this art - is it effective?

paolung or any others wanting to give advice - i have a kung fu school about 25 mi from my house, i currently am a white belt in karate so i haven't been going that long - didn't have to sign a contract - karate is ok but there are a lot of kids(8-14yr olds) in class - i am 27 - the other karate schools in my area are the same way - any advice would be appreciated.
