Thanks for the info Wastelander. Found a place north of Charlotte on-line called Japan Karate Association Shotokan of Charlotte in Davidson. Gonna have to give them a call and check them out. I am just hoping the 45 minute ride to get there doesn't deter my daughters current enthusiasm.

Thanks for your response sensei8. I actually have done the google thing and have been very surprised that there are not many options in the Charlotte area. My daughter lives and breathes karate right now and I am hoping she can continue on her journey when we relocate.

My family is moving to Matthews, NC later this summer and was looking for a tradtional karate school recommendation near Charlotte, NC. We will be living right below Charlotte in Matthews. My daughter is 12 and has been training in Shotokan for 3 years. Thanks.
