I was looking my karate old papers and i saw something like kyu. What is it?

My teacher gave me a new karte costume (or however it is called) for the competition on Saturday. It cost 250$( I'm not going to buy it). It's only for the competition. Also there 's a big big problem. IT IS DIRTY!!!. Μy mum has wash it 3 times and it's still DIRTY!!! It's so brittle to wash it at 95o. What can i do?

I was wondering how can i make my Kata looking better. I've got a orange belt and at 31st of may I've got my first competition. I want to win so...I'm practicing hard every day. Do anyone know how can i make them looking better;
