  1. step 1 yoi step 2 zenkutsu dachi kami step 3 chudan gyaku zuki step 4 shuto uchi step5 return to kami sounds like a typical thrust u do after a basic punch to me which should be done with maximm effort at all times
  2. have a look around for a good shukokai instructor he will show u how to use your hands and feet with power

  8. well found this forum a few days ago now not one mention of shukokai so wheres the mention of this style then i found a few topics on perfection stances whats the bestest move i aint saying mines the bestest style but try this for a thought Sensei Tani sought to perfect his style by studying the mechanics of the human body and developed techniques which can be delivered with maximum efficiency. The theories behind Shukokai are somewhat complex and it takes a lifetime to study to truly understand the art. It is a system of combat which seeks perfection and therefore demands continuous study.
  9. seen it done my instructor can do this all u are doing is creating zero tension from a standard stance
  10. try find an original shukokai instructor see how it feels to hit the pads going into with such power creating the shock effect from zero tension
  11. started training in shukokai karate in march 1995 took my first dan in november 2002
  12. well not 1 mention of the style shukokai karate
  13. if your attacking u must be stepping forward in to zenkutsu dachi kamai defend u must be stepping back to defend the attack as that is moving towards u as for what leg u move depends on what stance u started off in
