i dont see why an irimi nage shouldnt work for example if the aikidoka ist quick enough cause a boxer is really the perfect person to do an irimi nage on.

but i think win chung would be a good addision, cause it has an evasive philsophy like aikido, not a block then punch philosphy like silat.

hmm i think I wont keep it up, because it has a totaly different philosophy than aikido - the art i currently do. and i would just get in a muddle

is IKAEF a good quality kali organasation? i want to do kali as addition to aikido. The instructor of the school I want to go to is from IKAEF is that good? and is Kadua Guro a good rank? thank you

yup systema has the same fighting philosophy as aikido

the most similiar martial art to aikido is the russian martial art called systema. system emphazises like aikido in using the enemys force for ones own purpose. and thats exaclty why aikido is so hard to learn. the movements are unnatrual and dont work with force on a stronger partner. u first have to unlearn and then after some time u use the enemys attacks against himself. because they wont work with force.

it takes 4-5 years if u train consecuently to be good in aikido and use it in a real fight.
