  1. Sure, but it depends on where you're training - some places go in more for the big hard falls than other. FWIW - I've got a number of guys in their 70's, and I've taught people in their 80's. Flexibility really ought not to be an issue as long as you have a normal range of motion. Best, Chris
  2. Do you mean "Kancho" in Japanese, or the equivalent English translation? I can't imagine a Japanese person using the word "Kancho" for their father... Anyway - here's a look at it from the Aikido perspective. Best, Chris
  3. I've had that happen, and had them take the class - no problems at all. You have to figure that they wouldn't suit up to work out if it were really a problem for them. Best, Chris
  4. It's also ten times more useful, especially for really getting inside your body to figure out how things are working. It is much more difficult, though. Best, Chris
