Don't eat red meat if you overwork your fingers. Too many toxins and you'll end up with bad arthritis. This is a climber's tip, but it applies to this as well.
Careful not to diet. Not only do you end up with no energy, you ALWAYS put the weight back on. Eat well and hit the weights. Muscle burns the fat so the more you have, the more you burn. In short, nutrition works, diets don't.
Look them stright in the eye like you mean business. That way you don't have to run, or fight. I've done this a good dozen times and it's never failed me. Never been in a streetfight to this day.
My goal is october too, with the kicking off of competition season. 10 lbs left to lose (maybe 15 lol . I lost 25 though so I ain't afraid. Lean meat, weights, running, and not miss a single karate class. Easier said than done
