KaratekaAikidoist
I recently bought some shuriken and began practicing with them. My first one was light and stuck into the target about 3 out of 4 times. My second and third were much heavier and usually don't stick. Should I be concerned about this? I was told that they were designed not to stick, but to bounce away.
Pacificshore
If a shuriken is not designed to stick, then you might as well be throwing a ball . I think it's all in your technique of throwing the shuriken ................... Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia
Bdaze
Suriken ARE designed to bounce off for two reasons 1. a puncture would that has no weapon stuck in it will bleed more and infect easier. 2. if the object bounces off it sort of gave the illusion of magic which made people fear the ninja. if you;re just standing around and all of a sudden you have a huge gash on your forehead and you can;t figure out where it came from, you'll be a bit freaked out. the most importnat thing is getting the shuriken throw fast and accuratley. sticking is almost completely unneccisary. your chances of thrwoing a shuriken at someone and not having it cut them are slim to none If in your journey you encounter God, God will be cut ~Hatori Hanso (sonny chiba)
Davison
most ninja would wipe poison from tree frogs on to their shuriken so when the blade penatrates,it posions the person.causes cardiac arrest. Why punch someone when their on the ground when you can just kick them
Treebranch
Shuriken are made to buzz saw past someone and cut in the process. Your taijutsu has to be pretty good to throw a shuriken accurately and with power. Treebranch
It's not meant to stab and stay there. If it sticks to the person it bleeds less.
