tenkamusou
I dunno why, but that question poped into my mind... so I wanna know your opinion, who would win Bruce or Oyama? If you could improve yourself in only three or two months, everybody would be invencible...

Radok
Oyama. Too powerful for Bruce. If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no point. No point in what, you might ask? there's just no point. Many people seem to take Karate to get a Black Belt, rather than getting a Black Belt to learn Karate. cross
Bruce= quick Mas= strong Im not saying anymore because i dont see the point in comparing dead people, becuase in the end your just trying to find another way of saying " jeet kune do vs. Karate"
tenkamusou
it's funny how one simple thing can mean a lot of things to a lot of people... I didn't have the intention to compare karate vs. Jeet kune do... I don't care about that... and if I wanted to know about that i'd have made the topic "Karate vs. Jeet kune do"... I was just wondering how would be the fight between those two... as individuals... I still don't know who would have won the fight... cause I like them both... that's why I posted this topic in the first place. And so what that they're dead? We can compare two living guys and we would get the same discussion! each person would have a point of view, and a different argument... a comparisson is a comparison, u being alive or NOT... If you could improve yourself in only three or two months, everybody would be invencible...

aznkarateboi
Bruce was fast and strong. At their skill levels speed is more important then strength, because a few punches in the face would end it for any of them.
tenkamusou
i've to say... I was watching a muhammad ali special... and he could show some guys that power is important, but speed makes the diference... so i guess that, if bruce decided to share punches with oyama he'd lose, but if he punched oyama a few times, then kept moving around him, circling and punching... i think that bruce would win... but i think that if oyama had a good strategy we could beat bruce too... If you could improve yourself in only three or two months, everybody would be invencible...
Martial_Artist
Why are we even talking about this? What purpose does it serve? Does it make you a better martial artist? Does it improve your technique, the time you spend training, your ability? If not, then why does it matter? I don't not think someone truly concerned with self-improvement dwells much on on whether two icons could fare well against each other. Besides, I would check to make sure a post of this topic even fits the required guidelines...
