i have trouble with this. I can dodge a few attacks and i can parry a lot of them but the point is that my eyes keep blinking making me unable to see a opening in my opponent. is there anyway to stop this.

i'm gonna tell me what my music teacher told me when i told him i couldn't play a 4 mallet marimba song:

practice, practice, practice, practice, practice.

i sounds to me like you just have a habit of blinking do to a fear of getting hit; lots of people do that, even after they learn to block and parry. the more you practice, the less you do it. btw, i never did perfect that 4 mallet song.

My instructor would have us partner up. One partner would stand against a wall, and the other person would throw techniques. The attacker wasn't going super hard or anything, mainly because he knew that his turn was coming up.

Just keep training. You'll get used to being hit.

i'm used to being hit, but for some reason my eyes just keep blinking rapidly. could shadowboxing by any chance help this problem also. (this might be a stupid question.)

Try to do a hand stand on the wall it helps you stop blinking i guess?

I am still training however, having dabbled in Shotokan and Shotokai Karate. I am please to report that Kenshukai is one of the strongest and most disciplined styles ( i did not write this)
