battousai16 Posted October 25, 2003 Posted October 25, 2003 "Braveheart rocks but the film is not historically accurate" A History of the Modern World by R.R. Palmer and Joel Colton will tell you otherwise. and i'm not so sure i would put classify the aliens movies as thought provoking, as much as i enjoyed them. i'll give you T2, though. it's stretching it, but i'll give it to you. hajime Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 battousai16 I understand. Heck I live in a country with every government there's been a loathe. I used to cringe when travelling in Europe and being liked/disliked because I am from England. I can't help being born in this country anymore than anyone be responsible for their own one. I've met loads of people from other countries, I've liked most of them and will marry a 'foreigner' for many reasons not least cos english in a foreign accent is so nice to hear 700 hours of official training. battousai16 Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 oh, i understand, being from a very irish family, they still cringe everytime they hear "oliver cromwell" or something of that mention. the potato famine of the 1840's; i'm well aware niether one of our countries is well liked by everyone don't worry about it. anywho, back to the topic at hand, movies... yeah... did anyone reccomend rodger moores stuff? particularly "roger and me"? i haven't seen bowling for columbine yet, but i like a lot of his other stuff.
