Sho-ju Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Did you guys see the new judo guy out of Gokor/LeBelle camp? It was the sickest roll to a kimura I've ever seen.
goshinman Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Yeah that was sweet. Quite frankly I am suprised more people don't use that tactic in the octagon. It's a nearly unstoppable technique because It's kind of hard to defend a submission when your busy trying to breakfall. Hopefully more Judoka will represent in the octagon so that peeps can see what Judo is all about and it can get it's props in the mma world and stop being overshadowed by the immitation. *cough* BJJ *cough* J/K Tapped out, knocked out, or choked out...Take your pick.http://jujitsu4u.com/http://www.combatwrestling.com/http://gokor.com/
Venezolano Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 LOL @ goshinman's ignorance Valencia - Venezuela.
Tibby Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Ignorance my *. That is the most honest thing I’ve ever heard on Karateforums lol j/k
TJS Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Karo Parysin...definetly and Exciting fighter and had some very slick Throws. I also hope to see more judo in MMA but I dont know how well he would be able to do against a good wrestler. Sean Sherk(A strong wrestler) Dominated him and took him down at will in their fight...and in the rematch from what I heard. overall I think he has integraded judo into his mma game very well and I hope to see more of him. Unfortunatly With Matt Hughes Holding the welterweight Championship belt he dosent have much of a chance at the title...
Sho-ju Posted October 2, 2003 Author Posted October 2, 2003 That's what I was thinking. If Newton couldn't take Hughes then Karo will not. I would like to see Hallman fight Hughes again, if he's able to take him (and I think he can do it again sometimes people just have your number) then have Hallman fight Karo. Karo wins and then moves on to fight Newton and Newton takes him and we have Newton as champ again. That's my wishful thinking.
goshinman Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 LOL @ goshinman's ignorance Get a grip buddy it was a joke. Anywayz Karo needs many more fights against top grain opponents before he is ready to take a shot at Hughes. But in time he will be a contender. I still have some concerns about his stand up game, he seems to leave his head out there after he throws power shots. He will get he bell rung good by Hughes and any other good striker if he does that against them. Tapped out, knocked out, or choked out...Take your pick.http://jujitsu4u.com/http://www.combatwrestling.com/http://gokor.com/
