Help, can anyone identify this?

Can anyone out there tell me what style the design below represents? I know it's Japanese and that the kanji reads "karate-do". I don't know anymore than that. Has anyone seen this before ? Any help would be really appreciated.

Its from a school in Alaska, they teach the lethal animal style native to that area, Walrus-Do!!!

 

Sorry, I couln't resist, if it will help, I have never seen anything close to it and it is probably specific to a Japanese school, where did you find it?

never seen it before in my life. i'm also looking for the meaning behind a symbol.. it is a red and white apple blossom and stands for some kind of school, though i'm not sure which one.

ReD X I think that the nijitsu weapon called Red X style hahahah

I am still training however, having dabbled in Shotokan and Shotokai Karate. I am please to report that Kenshukai is one of the strongest and most disciplined styles ( i did not write this)
