Pressure Points or Submission techneques

I did learn a little akedo (spelling?) so i do know how to do some things, but i was wondering if any of you guys could tell me where some of the pressure points are located and how to do submission techneques.

Best thing to do is take a class, if you try to learn by reading, or looking at pictures online it does nothing for you. When you have a instructor showing you how and telling you how it works then proceeding to try them you will learn. Remember, chokes/pressurepoints can cause serious injury or death. Sometimes the online world of learning does not stress that enough.

yeah, there are a lot of technicalities in that sort of thing which can either result in injury or will leave the technique ineffective. best bet is to find some nice guy who knows what s/he's doing and have him/her show you some stuff.

Submission techniques can turn into breaking techniques quite easily. Pressure points come in handy when your in a pinch, but I wouldn't recommend them as a form of attack. It's helpful, but not essential.

yeah, i guess it is kinda touchy to put things out on the internet, but i can't seem to find anyone around me that does or did do akido
