Drunken Monkey Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 that is a seriously funny film... but um, what did what mean? y'know, i didn't understand how the mouthy guy managed to last so long against ichi... hold on, you mean that last scene with mouthy dude in the cell? hmmm, y'know, i just put it down to japanese weirdness. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
Yet another TKD guy Posted September 22, 2003 Author Posted September 22, 2003 I was just asking for the general interpertation of the point. I can explain the end. The showdown on the roof ended with kakihara poking his eardrums out. Everything after that was imagined. Ichi wasnt really a bad guy deep down inside and he had no desire to kill the kid or Kakihara. Apparently he was either left on the roof by the others or he just left. That is why the kid and Kakihara botha ppeared after the fight. The kid was supposed to represent Ichi btw. Throughout the film he displays Ichian characteristics and is replaced by Ichi in a shot or two. I took it to mean that anyone could be Ichi. AKA Os3y3ris/Osiris
Drunken Monkey Posted September 24, 2003 Posted September 24, 2003 hmmm, maybe i should borrow that one again... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
