sano Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 Do kickboxer make any money? i just heard from somebody who trains in kickboxing say that, "Thai and Kickboxers do not make money". and i know it's not true. but i want to know why he would say that? Maybe he should say they do not make that much money. falcon kick!!!
Tombstone Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 There's money in it but usually very little.
martialartist1 Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 it depends on the club. usually not very much money, so it is really hard to earn lots of money fast.
cross Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 I saw a recent fight between 2 guys that was worth $300 000 to the winner. I guess if your good you get lots
TJS Posted September 18, 2003 Posted September 18, 2003 there is very little money unless you are an elite fighter.
shotokanwarrior Posted September 18, 2003 Posted September 18, 2003 you might make a little money in k1 or ufc type of events but you have to win. Once you fight for money there is no going back to amature comp. Where Art ends, nature begins.
Drunken Monkey Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 and then there's the whole new experience of pain that you never knew existed.... you have to be really, really, dedicated... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
Thuggish Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 not to mention the fact that muay thai careers are much much shorter than a boxers career since their bodies just cant handle the beating. a broken arm throws no punches
