battousai16
now bare with me, because i've never trained with a makiwara board before, but at that point couldn't you just hit the wall? KP
Good way to toughen your fists. Also improves focus. I have limited space. But I didn't need much with the the one I use. Its 11in x 6in x 2In it is lighty padded so it leaves some skin. It has slots cut into it so it does give a little. It was recommended to me guy Kiyota Co. Baltimore.Md. Mount it on something solid. And make sure you don't have pictures on the other side. Start of with light focus punches. After just a couple of months you will fill a big difference. Punch on. Neil
http://www.kamikazeweb.com/index.php?action=articles&id=060 The wall mounted one was the one I bought and it is very tough. Its a bit pricy but beleive me it lasts! Very well made in Okiniwa and made to withstand. Neil

Its just a little cushion designed for little kids, not for a mature fighter. Neil

cymry
Make sure it gives a little If I'm not mistaken, if there's no give then all the shock will go straight back up your arm. Keep doing it and you'll damage your joints etc
