Okay, here's the deal: A guy has his own Jeet Kune Do school, and he is certified under Jerry Poteet, and Jerry was certified by Bruce Lee himself. Do you think attending his JKD classes would be a good or bad idea? thanks.

i don't see why it would be a bad idea. it dosen't matter who you were certified under so much as just how good a teacher you are. i'd just check it out my self and see how i like it.

Go for it.

poteet wasn't certified by Bruce.. he was certified by Dan Inosanto .. a picture on jerry meyer's website shows that he was a part of dan's backyard group for an extensive period of time. the only people directly certified by Bruce were Ted Wong, Dan I, James Lee, and Taky Kimura.

I would say check him out though..anyways. .it's worth a shot. .won't know unless you get your feet wet

you scythe with it!!!!!!

but there is a picture of Bruce Lee and about 4 or 5 other guys at his school, and one of them include Jerry.

why don't you just ask mr poteet who certified him?
