Were Shotokan and we do. However I think a tripple punch is pretty common practice.

We do them every once in a while.

If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no point. No point in what, you might ask? there's just no point.


Many people seem to take Karate to get a Black Belt, rather than getting a Black Belt to learn Karate.

Yep, we do it too (another Shotokan club).

 

I guess the reason we do it is kata Jion (although in Jion it is Chudan then double chudan) as kata is pretty much where all of the kihon (basic) moves come from.

Sanbon tsuki is great. Use it in normal combat. But how do you fire this combo? I am shotokan and i do:

 

- 1 to face

 

-2 to stomach
