wrestlingkaratechamp Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 And they tried to harm you but you didn't have a gun what weapon would you use. This is an effort to see what weapons people think are the most effective/best.
Cheradenine Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 Personally I keep a my combat staff by the bed... its small enough to weild inside, and I'm confident in using it.
JerryLove Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 The best weapon I had available... a firearm preferrably. https://www.clearsilat.com
Warp Spider Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 I think he specified guns weren't a possibility in this example though. I assume by that you mean only melee-type weapons, so in that instance I'd have to go with.. well, if I'm allowed ANY weapon in the house I'd go with a combat knife or possibly a chainsaw. However, if I'm limited to stuff in my bedroom, I'd hide and try to sap the person with the butt of my PSG, or if guns aren't allowed at all (including butts) then I'd do the same thing with my toolbox. JerryLove Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 Oh. missed that... Knife or sword... though the most available weapons is the morning star I use for a door-stop. https://www.clearsilat.com
tommarker Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 i have a nice sjambok hanging from the doorknob of my bedroom door. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
King of Fighters Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 I keep a chinese straight sword bseide my bed, kinda like the one from crouching tiger, hidden dragon, only not as awesome.
mouko_yamamoto Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 I'm going to get a straight sword. I've always been fascinated with swords, espesially katanas and chinese straight swords. here's the one I want: http://www.wle.com//products/W400.html OMG!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!! Tang Soo Do/Tae Kwon Do....Oh yeah, and unofficially...KENJUTSU"There are five possible operations for any army. Shoryu Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 I keep two pairs of nunchakus in my room, a pair of black gripped dragon ones by my bed and some hard hard hard black wood ones with medal studs on the doorknob and I'm pretty good with em so I'm confident in protecting anyone in my family...
Guest Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 Remember that the law says something to the effect of using only what force is necessary and excessible force is looked down upon. I agree that if someone breaks in and tries to hurt your family, you should have the right to do whatever you want because they are invading your space and trying to cause harm. I think that Nunchakus are good to have, if you know how to use them, in a tight space. A short sword would also be good if the attacker is weidling a bladed weapon of some sort. Also, short sticks.. jodos... are also maneuverable in a closed area.
