that is just your opinion not a fact. just like I have an opinion. style does not matter. you can have 3 styles boxing beats karate. but karate beats kung fu, but kung fu beats boxing......so which style mattered????? NONE. each person had a good and bad day.

Is it not true that there are gifted people who excell in their martial art? But I say this, They would excell in any art that they did just for the fact that, it is the way they are as individuals. I have seen black belts worth nothing and I have seen some of the same art that are exellent. There are 300 ways to break an arm, the individual will determin what technique to use.

That happens when the style "sell" or "give as a gift" their belts..

It's not only the individual, you can very very good by nature but if your style never train realistic, and do sparring how can you be effective?

In a competition fight, karateka would be taken to school by the Muay Thai guys, simply because the MT guys are trained to fight in the ring.

On the street, karate's more brutal techniques would give it a great advantage over the MT guys.
