battousai16 Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 i still don't understandd how that warrants a religion revolving around the front man "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
Drunken Monkey Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 well, no one understands the worshippers... as for me, i don't worship the guy, i just like a few of his/their songs. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
wrestlingkaratechamp Posted September 6, 2003 Author Posted September 6, 2003 Thats it. Everyone says he started grundge or something
Drunken Monkey Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 no, that was a label people stuck on him. the media needs/likes labels. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
battousai16 Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 that's my opinion of them. my neighbor and i used to listen to them in his room. i remember when kurt cobain died, he built a hug shrine to him that took up his entire wall. i think he kept it up until he ended up moving. i think that was the first encounter i ever had with a person who viewed kurt cobain as the reincarnation of jesus. Drunken Monkey Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 i think that is a sign of a guy who didn't get out much... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
battousai16 Posted September 7, 2003 Posted September 7, 2003 yeah, but i'm not one to talk "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
wrestlingkaratechamp Posted September 7, 2003 Author Posted September 7, 2003 Well thats taking it too far.
monkeygirl Posted September 7, 2003 Posted September 7, 2003 my neighbor and i used to listen to them in his room. i remember when kurt cobain died, he built a hug shrine to him that took up his entire wall. I knew a guy who did that for 2pac after he was killed. It's sad that someone died, but it's not like he knew him personally or anything. It's one thing to make a collage of memories for a best friend who has passed, but for a musician you didn't even know personally? That's rather pathetic IMO. 1st dan & Asst. battousai16 Posted September 7, 2003 Posted September 7, 2003 that was my thought "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
