Drunken Monkey Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 they have a greatest hits album? anything new on it cos well, i have all the old albums anyway... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
monkeygirl Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 Isn't there a previously unreleased song on the Greatest Hits album? I can't remember. I like Nirvana...they have some cool songs, just like any other band that I like. I don't understand the people that worship Kurt Cobain, though. They treat him like some kind of god! 1st dan & Asst. Black Dragon Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 "you know your right" is the unrealeased track and it is pretty cool. I dont think as many people worship him as identify with him. He was an innovator that was misunderstood and very unhappy. Its just sad that he felt he had no other way out. So recognize or be hospitalized Cuz literally on a scale from one to ten I'm 25.
wrestlingkaratechamp Posted September 6, 2003 Author Posted September 6, 2003 Kurt cobain was a genious. Rappers, punk rockers everyone no matter what kind of music you listen to you know hes a poet
battousai16 Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 yeah, i listen to them, and i think their music is good, but i also think they're a little over rated. and i don't understand the kurt kobain worshipers, like the ones who will argue with you for 20 minutes as to why a greatest hits album in its self goes against everything nirvana stands for. and i think it's very immoral to publish his journal for the masses to see. i know i'd be more than a little angry if i had a journal and it was published. Drunken Monkey Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 well, you got to look at it all in it's context. nirvana were around when the whole world was listening to really bad pop... all of a sudden someone wrote songs that we understood, someone who said the things we wanted to. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
monkeygirl Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 all of a sudden someone wrote songs that we understood, someone who said the things we wanted to. Really? 'Cause I couldn't understand a word he said... Seriously, though, I understand what you're saying. If you listen really hard, the lyrics are really good at times. They definitely opened up a whole new genre of music. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
