Vito
ive seen that combat ki stuff. sure they toughen up their bodies, but if you ask me (and im no expert in this case) its a joke. so you can tense up your neck muscles and breathe out real hard in a fixed stance and take one to the throat. wow. hope that comes up next time you get mugged. anyway, i think we all learned the multiple uses of the one in punch in kill bill vol2. ive been buried alive three times (long story), and its saved me each time. thankyou pai mai! Drunken Monkey
and once again.... the 'one inch punch' is a demonstration of the effects of using correct structure or perhaps what happens if you manipulate that structure. it is not a technique per se but something that should be in every technique you do, from an outright attack to a simple step forward. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite." Master Jules
The one inch punch is very real....I know because I perform it in demos with my students.....I place the tips of my fingers on my student, and without retracting, I hit and sit him down in a chair 5 feet away. I have film of this. ~Master Jules......aka "The Sandman""I may be a trained killer......but Im really a nice guy"

Master Jules
If youve seen the popeye cartoons where he eats spinach and his body kindof convulses with power....I know that sounds kinda weird....but my thought process concerning my energy is like that.....I "feel" my energy snap through my body, into my arm, and the power, fajing, explosive power in chinese....just sort of slams into my opponent.....my students tell me it feels as if they are being hit with a bowling ball..... ~Master Jules......aka "The Sandman""I may be a trained killer......but Im really a nice guy"
47MartialMan
Others that can punch harder feel no such thing. Power is nice to have. But when, where, and have you used it in a serious confrontation? Its ALL good..........
