King of Fighters Posted August 31, 2003 Author Posted August 31, 2003 I take back what i said about onegai teacher. I found out they made 2 episodes after the series finished, and after watching them i no longer think the series had a bad ending.
Drunken Monkey Posted August 31, 2003 Posted August 31, 2003 hey, does anyone know if the manga "blade of the immortal" was ever made into anime? post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
battousai16 Posted August 31, 2003 Posted August 31, 2003 "Gto stands for great teacher onizuka, its a really funny show." TEACHER BONZAI!!!! "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
King of Fighters Posted September 1, 2003 Author Posted September 1, 2003 TEACHER BONZAI!!!! .....right..... (slowly backs away) Anyways, ive never seen blade of the imortal before. try looking on kazaa or mirc for episodes.
Martial_Artist Posted September 1, 2003 Posted September 1, 2003 Just in defense of DB. The movies do not coincide with tv series, because they were never meant to. They're kind of like "what if's". So if you watch the movies and then watch the series you'll probably go "WTF???" Shorin Ryuu Posted September 1, 2003 Posted September 1, 2003 You have to remember that anime is made for ASIANS and they have a thing for tragic heroes (End of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, anyone?). I thought the ending to Cowboy Bebop was great. By the way, the "Bang" was very existentialist (Kind of a direct tie to Albert Camus's book, The Stranger). If you have no idea what I am talking about, then do some homework...(I don't feel like explaining it right away). Yeah, some anime endings do stink (Gasaraki...that was just a totally random end to a great series...), but some of them are great. Martial Arts Blog:http://bujutsublogger.blogspot.com/
