King of Fighters Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 Is it just me or do all the endings for animes suck *. I just finished watching onegai teacher, which was friggan awesome right up until the end of the last episode, because the ending was terrible. Man this just makes me so mad, every series i watch seems to be really good, but then has a terrible ending. Like rurouni kenshin, cowboy bebop, trigun, hellsing, onegai teacher they all had really bad endings. Even other series i have seen dont have very good endings (even if they arnt that bad). Does any one else here agree with me? Is japan trying to make us go insane or something?
sano Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 cowboy bebop ending was not bad because they both died finishing the series for good. but DBZ ending suck to bad. i guess they wanted to leave it open so the writers can make another addition or special to the show. but does anybody notice how the dbz movies make no sense when comparing them to the series story lines. falcon kick!!!
King of Fighters Posted August 28, 2003 Author Posted August 28, 2003 Cowboy bebops ending did suck. Not only does spike die, but just before does he does the stupidist thing ever!!!! Bang!!!! Not only that but it really doesnt conclude what jet and faye do. And yes i agree, dbz had a crappy ending, and you are absolutly right, the show and the movies dont really go together with the storyline. Thats are 2 of the reasons why i dont like dbz.
SBN Doug Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 I'll have to agree with DBZ, even though I like the show overall. Buu re-incarnated, and taken off to isolation to train with Goku? Paalease. Didn't like the Beebop ending either. I've missed the majority of the watered down Kenshin's, and I'm betting the "real" ending I've heard about will never make it to CN. battousai16 Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 the OVA ending to rurouni kenshin was very good, i thoroughly enjoyed it "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
sano Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 what was the real ending to kenshin??? and the only person i hate died is vicious. but to tell the truth that bang thing gets me ever time . And it makes me laugh ever time i see a man take on somebody with a gun only using a katana. like when kenshin toke on Kanryu Takeda's Gatling Gun . falcon kick!!!
whynot Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 The DBZ ending was horrible, if that word is even strong enough to describe it. What really bothered me was that Goku thought that he had to say goodbye for a seemingly long time to his family. HE CAN INSTANT TRANSMISSION BACK ANYTIME HE WANTS!. He could be home for dinner every night if he really wanted. It takes mere seconds, if that, to be go from one end of the galaxy to the other, so getting to the other side of the world should take no time at all. There are so many instances where he could have used instant transmission and did not (like when he needed to get out of Buu's body), and it just bothers me to no end. I think that the real key to that technique must be that one has to forget that he/she has the ability to do it 98% of the time. If the person constantly remembers, it just will not work. Aargh. I have only seen the first few DBZ movies, and I think that they take place sometime between DB and DBZ. As for the later ones, I cannot say how they fit into the normal timeline. I have not really seen the endings to too many other animes, so I cannot really comment on the rest.
King of Fighters Posted August 28, 2003 Author Posted August 28, 2003 what was the real ending to kenshin??? The kenshin ending happened during 2 oavs that came after the show. Kenshin and kaoru got married and had a son named kenji. kenshin gets a rare desiese (which is sorta like aids) which has no cure. Kaoru loves him so much that she has sex with him (therefore giving her the desiese as well) so she can feel his pain. While kenshin is sick he goes on a final quest to help the poor, but before he tells kaoru his real name and asks her to call him by it when he returns. While he is gone, kaoru gets really sick and kenji goes to live with kenshins master so he can learn the same style as his father. kenshin finally gets back quest (which took him a couple extra year because he lost most of his memory and sano had to come find him) and he and kaoru only spend a few minutes together before kenshin dies while they were sitting together and embrasing. Kaoru sais something to him like "we'll be together soon, shinta", then the camera begins to back away, showing kaoru hugging kenshins body. Id say thats a crappy ending. Kenshin dies!!!!! Kenshins not sepposed to die!!!! and kaoru was really sick at the end and was about die withen the next day. The last oavs are really amazing (even though the ending isnt very good) the quality is amazing, way better than the series or the first oavs, and the fight between kenji and yahiko is amazing, but i still really dont like watching them just because its so sad.
Black Dragon Posted August 29, 2003 Posted August 29, 2003 Or what was the point of Gohan gaining all that "power" from the Old Kai, if he got beat by Buu so easily, without even going Super Saiyan! So recognize or be hospitalized Cuz literally on a scale from one to ten I'm 25.
