Goju1 Posted August 28, 2003 Author Posted August 28, 2003 Front leg kicks are my fav The are quick, less telegraphed, and effective. Yep, me too - I just don't see too many people using them, do you? They can be vicious to attack the leg vital points
cross Posted August 29, 2003 Posted August 29, 2003 I use both. Front leg is quicker, less telegraphed, requires less movement and is powerful due to force generated from back leg. A mae geri with the front leg is a good way to stop your opponent in their tracks.

Sasori_Te Posted August 30, 2003 Posted August 30, 2003 I believe we have a unanimous vote for lead leg kicks. A block is a strike is a lock is a throw.

mArTiAl_GiRl Posted August 30, 2003 Posted August 30, 2003 I broke my right leg's bone a few months ago. I used to kick with my right leg, but because of the broken bone, I couldn't, so I had to learn kicking with my left leg, though I'm right-handed. In that way, I started to do better front leg kicks. lol Kill is love
Sasori_Te Posted August 31, 2003 Posted August 31, 2003 I think we all agree back leg kicks are effective too, but we were specifically discussing front leg kicks. A block is a strike is a lock is a throw.
