G95champ Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 When I did American TAO karate in college (a made up style) we did Chungji and Toigye but we did others as well. My teacher had 3 differant black belts on in TKD one in Hapikido and one in Chin Na Kung Fu. He picked the kata he liked and put them into his style. But I really dont know much about them. sk0t Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 Those are ITF Forms. the WTF uses the TaeGueks...the old WTF TKD forms were the Palgwe forms... sk0t"I shall not be judged by what style I know, but how I apply that style againsts yours..."
sindian Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 Since you're doing ITF forms, this link might be helpful: http://www.itf-information.com/patterns.htm We did ITF forms, but also some non-ITF/non-WTF forms too.
karatekid1975 Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 We do Taegueks and the WTF black belt forms (don't know their names), plus Moo Duk Kwan forms (Nahanchi, bassai sho and dai, Sip Soo, ect). Laurie F
tufrthanu Posted August 29, 2003 Posted August 29, 2003 Actually those aren't really ITF forms. The are from the Chang Hon school of Hyung. We do some of the same forms in American Tae Kwon Do only we don't bounce.[/img] Long Live the Fighters!
