Angus
Absolutely Karateka.... I'm not totall against kicks, but i only use them if i can get them off quick enough... They are very deadly when used effectively. Angus. Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.
niel0092
I always thought a nice front kick to bust the knee would be great...Depending on the situation and as a prelude to a hand tec. iamrushman
i agree...nothing but the basics when it comes to street life situations.......such as kicks below the belt, sweeps, stomps and and basic turning kicks. violence to protect life and loved ones, not ego. _________________ rushman (taekwondo moderator) 3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon florida This Message was edited by: iamrushman on Jul 15, 2001 6:17pm rushman (karate forums sensei)3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon"saying nothing...sometimes says the most"--e. dickerson
shortdog
i find that in a street fight a front kick to the face or a jump back turn kick. i have used that one a few times. most people wouldnt use it. buz its too fance, but it is quick and effective if you hit them in the stomach or solarplexus. shortdog peace out In the road of life there are many paths. DIABLO
If you are going to kick, just make sure that you snap it back , and don't leave it hanging in the air. In sparring you might be lucky and get away with it, but in a street fight that is how you will end up on the ground. keep your hands up!!
Angus
I don't care if i get into trouble in sparring if a guy leaves his leg out i'm gonna grab it... That's just the most stupid thing you can ever do! Angus Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.
thaiboxerken
I don't really snap my kicks, i crash through a person. But as soon as i make contact, I kick-off the person to get back to my fighting stance. If a person grabs my leg, well I just plant the knee of that leg into their face. It is hard for a person to grab a kick to the thigh though.
